At Lighthouse Fitness Tenerife we are proud of the service we offer, our values and what we stand for, but we are small, private and limited to our location.

That’s why we have started an Online Coaching service! We can reach people all over the globe.

Our system will help you set and achieve your goals guided by one of our coaches. You will meet them online every other week for a 60-minute call to review the past week, celebrate the victories, reflect on the hiccups and learn to overcome every obstacle that comes your way.

Every other week is too long; don’t worry, we are always there to help you. The weeks in between the meetings with your coach you will complete a simple feedback questionnaire (5-10 minutes) and your coach will give you all the feedback you need. That way you will develop a self-reflection practice and get used to paying attention. Being independent is fun!

Nutrition, unique to you

No strict diets. No established menus. No templates.

Our approach to nutrition is quite simple: only you know what you works for you. We are here to help you pay attention, reflect on your behaviours and identify what has to change moving forward. Moreover, we are here to guide you setting goals and strategies to achieve them while keeping you 100% accountable.

  • Tell you what and when to eat. We are not your mum.

  • Give you a food menu we pulled from ChatGPT.

  • Give you the most rigid macros you have seen in your life.

  • Force you eat keto, paleo or vegan, making you quit every food you love.

  • Slave you to 2-plus hours of training every day.

  • Endless cardio just because.

  • Withhold key information to stagger your progress so you pay for longer.

  • Give you horrible workouts we would never do ourselves.

  • Force you to buy our miracle water, supplements, shakes, pills, etc.

Landing on a training program that is just right for you is not easy and it takes some trial and error; but we are here for you to make it happen, and trust us, it’s worth the wait.

As part of your weekly revision with your coach we will develop the best possible training program for you, based on your feedback, preferences and history. Together.

ONLINE COACHING: Nutrition

  • Service is purchased in 4-week blocks, which include:

    • Free 30-minute consultation before starting the service

    • Support and contact 24/7 with your personal coach

    • Two online Check-ins and coach feedback per month (Weeks 1 & 3)

    • Two* online 60-minute live review with your coach per month (Weeks 2 & 4)

    *You get three online live reviews on your first month, in weeks 1, 2 and 4

    • A personalised weekly tracker for your calories and macros

    • Multiple resources and tools on habits, goal setting, emotional eating, etc, to make sure you are making progress

    • Professional help and advise to build your own menu based on your goals and preferences

    Hello! My name is Alejandro, and I have been working online with Adrian for over a year now. I started with him because, after a difficult time in my life, I felt like I was no longer the same person, and I wanted to change my situation and, overall, how I felt. The truth is that the process has been entirely pleasing, without stress, and according to my necessities.

    When we started this process, I was almost 130kg. I told Adrian that my goal wasn't a rapid weight loss; I wanted to change my habits, improve my physical condition and be capable of enjoying sports again. Due to my habits and the weight I had gained, I couldn't enjoy sports and I wasn't feeling great either. FAQ

  • Yes! As part of your application, you will be asked what coach you'd like to work with and if working with that coach is a deal-breaker. Our coaches only take a handful of online clients to make sure they get the service they deserve. If the coach you'd like to work with is fully booked, we will reach out with other options for you.

    Alternatively, if you don't mind what coach you want to work with, we will pair you up with the one that we think would work best with you based on your application. You can always request a coach switch if you need to.

  • You will have direct access to your coach 24/7 on their personal phone and email, so you are free and encouraged to message them whenever you need to. Your coach will get back to you as soon as they can.

    Your bi-weekly meets will be done on "Google Meet" with a link on your personal calendar. Simple and effective.

    Lastly, you will have all your documents on a private Google Drive folder that is only shared with your coach. You will find the bi-weekly questionnaire there, as well as your nutrition tracker, workout program, reading materials, etc.

  • We understand that tracking macros is not for everybody, but it's the most accurate way of knowing exactly what you are eating and what your meals are made of, giving us a better chance of achieving your goals and awareness of the calories and macros needed. This is why we highly recommend everyone who starts with us to track their calories and some of their macros, mainly protein.

    That being said, if a tool (tracking macros) doesn't work for you, we have plenty of other resources and tracking methods we can try; we will find the one that fits your goals and lifestyle the best so your results stay with you.

    Let us be clear: we personally coach you and we don't believe on-size-fits-all. You don't have to track your macros to be successful with us.

  • If you want, you can add Online Training Coaching to the Online Nutrition Coaching. This means that your coach will tailor-make a program for you based on your goals, fitness level, interests, preferences, etc.

    You will have a few extra questions in your bi-weekly questionnaire about your training and during your bi-weekly reviews you will cover your training too. This is to ensure yo uare making the progress you are after and getting the most out of the program. Moreover, if gives you a chance to give feedback on how you feel about the program and if you wish to change anything.

  • We currently don't offer Online Training Coaching without Online Nutrition Coaching. The reason is that it takes time to get to know you, to know what you like, your knowledge, performance, etc. It's extremely hard (or impossible) to give you a tailor-made training program ,of which we would be proud, without weekly conversations. Yet, we don't think that this service would have legs or cover a full 60-minute review. It's because it falls on a weird place that we don't feel totally comfortable offering this service.

    Nevertheless, we offer a plethora of training resources (most of them free) and we are more than happy to have a conversation with you about how to set up your training program or give you and advice you feel like you need.

  • The training program is given as part of adding the Online Training Coaching, and it's a core part of it. We will never charge you extra money for a program or for changing it.

  • The program is for you and you alone. If you are not convinced about something, no matter how small it is, let your coach know and we will address it.

    This is way having conversations about your training program with your coach is so important: It helps us understand your needs and preference so we can change and adapt the program bit by bit until is perfectly suited to you.

  • Of course! Even though we normally focus on General Physical Preparedness (GPP), we love the specificity of sports training and performance. Furthermore, Adrian has an MSc in Sports Performance and Egle has an MSc in Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation. Both coaches have large experience helping athletes improve their performance with S&C.

    Your coach will need to contact your sport specific coach to learn about your practice and training sessions to tailor your S&C around it.

  • Definitely! In Lighthouse Fitness we believe that even the most experienced coaches can benefit from a coach. Another pair of eyes can offer new solutions to old problems or fresh ideas on how to attack your next goals.

    Staying objective about your body and performance is challenging, and offloading nutrition decisions to a pro (even if you're a pro, too!) can relieve a lot of unneeded pressure so you can spend more time and energy doing the thing (food prepping, training, crushing your habits, etc).

    Our coaches are also masters in accountability. If you've ever found yourself thinking, "I know what I need to do, but I just can't get myself to consistently do it." we can help.

  • Of course we do! We help you identify calories and macros, and you choose your food. Your coach will give you personalised recommendations based on your dietary preferences to help you feel confident hitting your targets and reaching your goals.

    If you follow a ketogenic diet or want to try any other diet model, you can let us know in your onboarding questionnaire, and your coach will ensure your macros support your preference.

  • We don't want to force people to work with a coach they don't believe in. We don't want to tie you up on a contract or hide our charges behind recurring payments.

    We don't work like that. Payments cover a 4-week period; after that you are free to leave if you believe our service isn't worth your money.

    We know we are.

  • We don't do that here. Giving you a meal plan would be like telling you what sport you enjoy watching or choosing your underwear for you.

    We will help you build a meal plan based on your preferences and needs, understanding the why behind the choices. This is how we make the sustainable changes that lead to long-lasting results.

    We can give you ideas and many different things to try, but we will not force a menu on you.

  • In an ideal world, to make the most out of your Nutrition Coaching, you'd need a food scale, a body weight scale, some measuring tape and your phone. We’ll teach you how to accurately measure progress using different body composition metrics (weight, pictures, and measurements). You’ll use your food scale to measure portion sizes and ensure you stick to your plan.

    On the other hand, for your Training Coaching, we will adapt the training program to the available equipment! We have programmed for clients who prefer to train in their garage with minimal equipment, calisthenics and gymnasts and clients going to a globo-gym with cable machines. We will recommend what route would be the most efficient, but it's your preference and your call at the end of the day.

  • Our coaches are not nutritionists but we can work with almost anyone struggling with a medical illness, but our coaches cannot provide medical assistance or treatment options for diabetes, hormonal problems, thyroid problems, PCOS, etc.

    Our coaches work with clients to help them put medical recommendations into habitual practice.

    If you have a medical illness, please consult your doctor before changing your diet.

    Our nutrition coaching service cannot and should not be used to treat any medical conditions. If you’re unsure of whether or not this applies to you, send us email.

  • Life happens! We are coaches, but believe it or not, we are also people. We will do our best to accommodate you if something happens, if you have a trip, an emergency, etc.

    We life in the real world too. Just be kind enough to let your coach know as soon as you can and we will work another date out for you. Don't worry, you are not losing you sessions just like that.

  • You are welcome to meet with your video off, or you and your coach can speak over the phone. You'll get a chance to let us know how you'd prefer to meet when you send us your application.
