Why Lighthouse?

a symbol of guidance, safety, and resilience—a beacon that shines through the darkest nights and the fiercest storms, leading the way to a safe harbour.

At Lighthouse Fitness Tenerife, we aspire to be that beacon.

At Lighthouse Fitness Tenerife, we believe that fitness and well-being are lifelong journeys, not just destinations. Our story is rooted in a deep passion for health and a commitment to empowering others, shaped by nearly two decades of combined experience in the fitness industry.

The name ‘Lighthouse’ was chosen with deep intention. A lighthouse is a symbol of guidance, safety, and resilience—a beacon that shines through the darkest nights and the fiercest storms, leading the way to a safe harbour. At Lighthouse Fitness Tenerife, we aspire to be that beacon. We are here to guide you towards a life where you are ageless, limitless, and fearless. Just as a lighthouse stands strong and unyielding, we are committed to helping you build the strength, confidence, and resilience to navigate your own journey, no matter what challenges arise.

Our approach to fitness and well-being is unique. In an industry where one-size-fits-all often leads to frustration and injury, we are dedicated to creating customised experiences that cater to your individual needs, abilities, and goals. Whether it’s through our personal training sessions, our small group strength and conditioning classes or our tailored online nutrition coaching, we ensure that every experience is crafted with care and expertise.

We take great pride in what we do and how we do it.

This is us.

My fitness journey began as an athlete in swimming and modern pentathlon, representing Lithuania. After dealing with overuse injuries and unhelpful coaching advice like ‘run more’ to run faster and “just eat less” to lose weight, I found myself caught in a cycle of fad diets, fatigue, and frustration due to not achieving much. This pushed me to learn how to train and fuel the body in a way that supports long-term health and performance.

As a personal trainer with nearly a decade of experience and a nutrition coach, I help clients build strength, confidence, and resilience through tailored workouts. Whether it's an injury rehab or achieving a new fitness goal, I adapt to each client’s needs and take pride in unlocking their potential. Many say our sessions are the highlight of their day, giving them a boost of energy and positivity.

Nutrition is a key part of the journey. After struggling with poor guidance myself, I now focus on sustainable choices that fuel both the body and mind. As a certified nutrition coach with Working Against Gravity (WAG), I ensure that my clients’ nutrition supports their training, and well-being and fits with their unique lifestyle.

What sets me apart is the personal connection I build with my clients. As one client put it, "I’ve gained strength and confidence, and she pushes me in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming." Whether mastering pull-ups or simply feeling better day to day, I’m here to guide clients toward a healthier, happier future.

My fitness journey began in my teens when I struggled with an autoimmune condition that made sweating unbearable. This turned me into a sedentary teenager, finding comfort in food and feeling trapped in my own body. But everything changed when I was inspired by movies like 300 and Man of Steel. Watching those actors transform sparked something in me, and I started exploring how they trained.

At first, I was too self-conscious to go to a gym, so I trained at home with whatever I had. It wasn’t easy, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way—falling for fitness gimmicks and trends. But the more I learned about real training principles, the more my health improved. Over time, I realised that fitness wasn’t just about how I looked; it was about how I felt. My autoimmune condition became more manageable, and I gained confidence in both body and mind.

This personal transformation inspired me to help others, so I earned a degree in Psychology and later an MSc in Sports Performance. For almost a decade, I’ve been a personal trainer, working with clients of all ages and fitness levels—from Varsity athletes to those just starting their journey. I blend my background in psychology and sports performance to create a holistic approach, focusing on progress over perfection and empowering clients to understand the “why” behind every movement.

I’m also a Certified Precision Nutrition coach, where I combine the science of nutrition, habits, and psychology to help clients make sustainable changes that fit their lives.

Fitness is not just about working out; it’s about community, support, and accountability. I know what it’s like to struggle on your own, and I’m here to help guide you every step of the way toward a healthier, stronger, and more confident you.

Together, we bring a holistic approach to fitness, where physical strength is developed alongside mental resilience.
